T levels
T Levels are new courses, which will follow GCSEs and will be equivalent to three A Levels. These two-year courses have been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses so that the content meets the needs of industry and prepares students for work.

T Levels could be right for you if:
- You’re not sure what you want to do next
- You want to keep your options open and possibly pursue an advanced apprenticeship, degree apprenticeship or degree in the future
- You’d like to combine learning with work experience
- You want to meet potential future employers
What you'll do on a T Level course
You’ll spend 80% of your time in the classroom and 20% on a minimum 9-week placement with an employer. This means you’ll learn what a real career is like while you continue your studies.

Schools and colleges set their own entry requirements, so check their websites to find out what GCSE grades you need.
T Level subjects
There are several subjects available now in England, including digital, science, engineering and manufacturing, construction and health. More subjects are coming in the next few years.
