Bridges could repair themselves, roads could capture sunlight to power nearby homes and green corridors could weave through cities so people and wildlife can thrive together.

Future Worldsmiths could use AI-driven modelling (digital systems that test thousands of design options), digital twins (computer copies of real projects tested before they’re built) and immersive simulations (virtual worlds you can step inside to experience designs). These tools could help them predict challenges, refine solutions and build infrastructure that stands strong against climate change.
