These engineers could use bio-labs where materials are grown from mushrooms, algae and even seaweed and molecular printers that build objects layer by layer at the tiniest scale. AI design partners could instantly test millions of eco-friendly ideas.

This role could involve creating adaptive furniture (chairs that reshape for every body), forever-usable gadgets that heal their own cracks and zero-waste factories.
